VOLUNTEERS WANTED: JOB PLACEMENT SPECIALIST

JOB PLACEMENT SPECIALIST: The person in this position would help our clients in their search for employment. Duties would include calling potential employers to advocate for our clients, help compose resumes, conduct mock interviews and advise clients on appropriate wardrobe and appearance.

Qualifications: Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, professional demeanor, and ability to volunteer for 4 hours each week.

INTAKE DESK: The person in this position is the first contact for our clients. Duties would include greeting clients as they come in the door or call in on the telephone. You will determine what service they are looking for and who they need to speak with for assistance. You will also make copies and send faxes for our clients. It is appreciated if you would make coffee and keep the reception area tidy. Our hours of operation are Monday and Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Shifts are 3-4 hours each.

 

Qualifications: You must be a compassionate and caring person with the ability to listen. Basic office skills, keyboarding and computer skills are required.
